Hammersmith.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But the real star of the show will undoubtedly be the Amiga &#8211; now beginning to make a real impression in the UK computer marketplace.<br \/>\nHighlight of the first day will be a seminar on Amiga graphics capabilities &#8211; the very area of performance which is spearheading the machine\u2019s breakthrough into home, education and business sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Leading experts in the field of computer graphics will be making presentations and answering questions from Amiga users.<br \/>\nEarly indications are that there will be plenty of new products for the Amiga making their debut at the show.<br \/>\nAmong the more colourful is a DTP package called Comic Setter from HB Marketing. It allows users to create their own cartoons in colour &#8211; incorporating characters, backdrops and even speech bubbles in a variety of fonts &#8211; all at a price of under \u00a3100.<\/p>\n<div id=\"amiga-3052668907\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5151894371933346\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5151894371933346\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"9871554155\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Adamsoft will be displaying a range of software for the Amiga that has been specially imported fro m America for the show.<br \/>\n&#8216;rhe Novotel will also be the launching pad for three new Amiga packages &#8211; word processor TextPro. assembler program AssemPro and powerful database DataRet-rieve &#8211; priced around \u00a350 but offered at special show prices.<\/p>\n<p>Catering for the more advanced Amiga user, Ariadne Software will give the first public showing of its new interactive communications system, priced \u00a3500.<\/p>\n\n<p>It comprises Microtext, an authoring language to help create computer-based dialogue for interactive video productions, and the Video Player Device, software that enables the user to control any laser disc, compact disc or video tape player with an RS232 port.<br \/>\nAlso on show for the first time is Ariadne\u2019s new Amiga video editor for use with Sony U-Malic tape recorders. And details will be available of the Amiox expansion board for the Amiga 2000 which contains a further eight serial and four parallel ports.<br \/>\nMetacomco &#8211; designer of the Amiga operating system \u2014 is launching an enhanced version of its popular Pascal package.<br \/>\nNew features include random access, separate compilation, dynamic strings and a user interface to the Amiga Dos. Price \u00a389.95.<br \/>\nEvesham Micros will be selling a 3.5 inch double-sided disc drive with a storage capacity of 880k for \u00a399.95.<br \/>\nMeedmore Distribution vs launching its Am-Com interface cable which allows the Amiga to use printers originally designed for use with the Commodore 64 and 128. Price \u00a379.95.<\/p>\n<div id=\"amiga-3052668907\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-5151894371933346\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5151894371933346\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"9871554155\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>On the lighter side, three new games will be released by Anco Market &#8211; Pinball Wizard price \u00a319.95, Mike the Magic Dragon and City Defence priced \u00a314.95 each.<\/p>\n<p>The show will also feature a number of specific attractions for Amiga users.
