After entering its name and serial number received by email after purchase, the view options window opens, personally I choose the default options for this tutorial. Click on “next” to continue.
On the next page concerning the association of files, check all the options because you must also associate with AMIGA Forever the .uae files which are the configuration files of WinUAE, the free AMIGA emulator used in AMIGA Forever. Click on “next” to go to the next step!
The part of shared system keys that comes next never works very well for me so I leave the default options and I click directly on “next“.
Same thing on the next window for me, I leave it default because the default shared system keys work very well in my case. Click on “next”
On the next Advanced Preferences window, check “Disable drive sounds” if you don’t want to hear the sound of the fake floppy drive. The other options will not be useful in our case because it is a first use. click on “next”
On the next screen leave the items checked by default and click on “Check Now” to see if updates are available on the AMIGA Forever update server.
If updates are available, check “Yes” to download and install them on the PC. Click again on “Next”
And now the installation is complete! Click on “Finish”
If updates have been detected, the installation of updates will now trigger, otherwise go directly to the next step.
