How to Install and Use AMIGA Forever 9 R2! (2022 version)

In the selection menu on the left by going to the “Games” directory, you can access the list of games delivered with AMIGA Forever by default. About a hundred games are coming with this distribution and among the games available there are some very, very good ones, such as one of my favorite games “Flight of the Amazon Queen” or “FOTAQ” for friends. A game that we do not regret taking the time to play, the story is excellent and full of humor. I strongly advise you!
Launching a game is very simple! just select it from the list and click on the “play” button at the top of the menu or right-click on the name of the game chosen with a simple selection of the “play” option from the micro menu that appears opens. The chosen game is “Lure of the Temptress“, another cult hit in computer history.
The game launches with a nod to my favorite demo band “Fairlight” with the famous logo made by graphic designer Angeldawn. Note in passing that the sources of the game have been lost at the publisher and that very few original copies are still circulating in the world. If the protection of the game had not been removed by Fairlight, this game may have fallen into oblivion or would not be accessible to 99.99999999% of players on the planet. Thanks Fairlight!
The real game finally starts but we are not going to focus on the game but rather on the options to play correctly. Click in the game window to take control of it, once in the interface the mouse will be blocked in the emulator, to exit the mouse control from the AMIGA Forever emulator, just hold down the mouse button for two seconds “Escape” or “Esc” key on the keyboard.
On a game like “Lure of the Temptress” several game disks are needed, the game will therefore ask you to change disks! To do it, nothing could be simpler! Click on the small floppy icon below the game window placed in 5th position and choose the floppy disk to insert into the virtual DF0 drive. (DF0: for Disk Floppy 0 is the name of the AMIGA’s internal floppy drive)
Now the game is loaded and you can play.
I invite you to try the options in the bar above the game window, these options are very intuitive and do not require a detailed description in this tutorial, For example 1x -> 4x will enlarge the window size and the last option allows you to go full screen. To exit full screen mode, you must also hold down “Esc” for a few seconds.
